Do You Go Through Life With A ‘BITCH PLEASE’ Attitude?

Are you angry most or all of the time? Do drama and conflict seem to follow you around like a lost puppy? Are you frequently impatient and irritable? Do you use the same knee-jerk response when someone or something triggers you? Are you quick to push your hand in someone’s face and use mean, insulting, derogatory language towards them?

Anger, I should point out, is one of the secondary emotions wired into your system that has an evolutionary function rooted in self-preservation. However, being in a constant state of anger over many months, years, and even decades is akin to acid surging through your veins, corroding the very core of who you are. From a purely physical perspective, chronic anger changes your brain chemistry that can lead to a host of serious dis-ease. Psychologically and emotionally, conflicts and difficulties in coping with anger play a central role in the onset and persistence of depression.

Finally, anger saps your energy, is a repellent to friends, and relationships, and robs you of your peace of mind. It’s antithetical to human flourishing so I’m pretty sure that if you’re carrying a bucket load of anger around every day, you’re not having a great time and probably quite exhausted!

I created my ‘Bitch Please’ Coaching Program to give my clients new and more conducive ways of ‘being’ in the world. It is absolutely possible to tuck anger away nicely and summons it up at your own say-so and necessity. So rather than being at the mercy of anger, you get to choose to experience life in a more full and satisfying way.

I rely on 5 fundamental and powerful Life Coaching principles in structuring my Coaching Program:

  1. GETTING TO THE ROOT OF A PROBLEM. Looking at and understanding the cause and not the symptom.
  2. USING INTERNAL RESOURCES. Tapping into your strengths and attributes has considerable utility in self-regulation and self-direction.
  3. BLOCKS AND BARRIERS. Challenging old ideas, limiting beliefs, self-sabotaging thoughts, and behavior. Exploring and deprogramming other people’s projections. Disassembling societal, family, and cultural conditioning and ideas that are antithetical to human flourishing.
  4. DEVELOPING SELF-AWARENESS AND INTROSPECTION. Gaining a deeper understanding of your emotions and feelings. Investing in the necessary self-work for growth, change, and maintenance.

Effective response alternatives, reframing, self-evaluation methods, goal-setting, physical activities to increase well-being, using Emotional Intelligence, being present in the moment, a.k.a Mindfulness, self-love and personal healing rituals, forgiveness techniques, positive psychology, and creating a joy-filled life.
